Every suit in this collection is hand-embroidered, so the right choice comes down to three things: fabric, handwork and how you plan to stitch it.

Pick the fabric for your day. For everyday and summer wear, choose pure cotton, mal mulmul or maslin. They are soft, breathable and comfortable for long hours. For office wear or daytime functions, chanderi and Maheshwari silk add a gentle sheen without feeling heavy. For evenings, georgette drapes beautifully.

Match the handwork to the occasion. Kantha and Kathiyawadi embroidery bring a colourful, folk-inspired look that suits casual and daytime wear. Phulkari and multicolour thread work are perfect for family gatherings. Gota patti and zardozi add a subtle shine for festive evenings.

Plan your stitching. Each set includes 2.5 metres of kurta fabric, bottom fabric and a matching dupatta. That is enough for a farshi suit or a co-ord set in most sizes, while a straight or A-line kurta works for every size. Decide your style before you visit your tailor, so you can make the most of the fabric.

Yes. Every suit in the Timeless Thread Edit is hand-embroidered, featuring traditional crafts like gota patti, zardozi, phulkari, Kolkata handwork, kantha and Kathiyawadi embroidery.

How do I wash a hand-embroidered cotton suit?

Before the first wash, soak the fabric in water with alum (fitkari) and salt for 3–4 hours or overnight to set the colour. After that, hand wash gently, avoid rubbing the embroidery, and dry inside out in shade. Never use a washing machine, as it can pull and break the embroidery threads. For silk, chanderi and other delicate fabrics, dry clean is recommended.

How fast will my order be delivered?

Prepaid orders are dispatched the same day. Cash on Delivery orders take 1–2 days to dispatch, as we confirm them first. Delivery across India usually takes 3–5 working days after dispatch. A ₹150 fee applies to Cash on Delivery orders, so paying online is the fastest and most affordable option.
