How Do Exchanges, Cash on Delivery and Partial Payment Work at The Syma Closet?
Before you place an order, it helps to know exactly how payments, exchanges and cancellations work. Here is a simple summary of our policies. For complete details, please read our Refund Policy and Shipping Policy.
Payment options
Prepaid: You can pay online using UPI, cards, net banking, wallets and other methods shown at checkout. Prepaid orders get an extra 5% off and are the fastest, as they are usually dispatched the same day.
Cash on Delivery: Available across India on orders up to Rs 4,999. A Rs 150 fee applies to Cash on Delivery orders. Pay online to avoid this fee and save an extra 5%.
Partial Payment: You pay a part of the order value at checkout and the balance in cash at delivery. For orders above Rs 4,999, this is the option available instead of full Cash on Delivery. The exact amounts are shown on the checkout page before you confirm. These orders are dispatched once the upfront amount is received.
Shipping
Standard shipping is free across India. Delivery usually takes 3 to 5 business days after dispatch, and may take longer for remote locations or during festive seasons. You will receive tracking details on your email and WhatsApp.
Our exchange policy
We follow an exchange-only policy. We do not offer cash refunds on delivered products.
- Raise your request within 5 days of delivery on WhatsApp or email, with your order number and clear photos of the product and packaging.
- Keep the product unused, unwashed and unaltered, with all tags and original packaging.
If your product is damaged, defective or incorrect
Once we verify it, we arrange a free reverse pickup and send you a replacement at no extra cost. If the same product is out of stock, you can choose another product of equal value or a credit coupon.
If you need a different size
We offer one size exchange per order, subject to stock availability.
If you change your mind
If the product arrived in perfect condition but you no longer want it, we offer a credit coupon code valid for 6 months.
Who pays for return shipping?
For damaged, defective or incorrect products, we pay for shipping both ways. For size exchanges and change of mind, you ship the product back to us, and we pay to ship the replacement to you.
What cannot be exchanged
Used, washed or altered products, items without original tags or packaging, customised or made-to-order pieces, and final sale items.
Cancelling an order
You can cancel free of charge before your order is dispatched. Once dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. For prepaid cancellations, the refund goes to your original payment method within 7 to 10 business days.

Do you offer refunds?
We do not refund delivered products. Refunds are issued only if we cancel your order, you cancel before dispatch, or we are unable to deliver.
Is Cash on Delivery available on all orders?
Cash on Delivery is available on orders up to Rs 4,999, with a Rs 150 COD fee. Above that, you can use Partial Payment. Paying online avoids the fee and gives you an extra 5% off.
How long is the credit coupon valid?
Credit coupon codes are valid for 6 months and can be used on any order on our website.
